Circumferential Tummy Tuck

What to Expect During Your Tummy Tuck Journey
Your tummy tuck is designed to create a smoother, firmer abdominal contour by removing excess skin and tightening weakened muscles. Here's what you can expect throughout the process:
1. Your Procedure
A horizontal incision is placed low on the abdomen, between the hip bones, where it can typically be concealed beneath underwear or swimwear. In many cases, the belly button is repositioned to maintain a natural appearance.
2. Abdominal Contouring
Excess skin and tissue are removed, and separated abdominal muscles are repaired to restore a firmer abdominal wall. The remaining skin is carefully redraped to create a flatter, more toned contour.
3. Recovery & Healing
Following surgery, you'll wear a compression garment to support healing and reduce swelling. Most patients can expect several weeks of recovery with temporary activity restrictions as the abdomen heals and final results begin to emerge.
